The annual winter overnight is a requirement to become an EBSP patroller. This event is open to patrol candidates, prospective members, members/patrollers, as well as members of the public. Patrol candidates needing this requirement will be prioritized. This is an opportunity to learn about camping in winter conditions/practice those skills in case of emergency. We will cover various types of planned an improvised snow shelters, fire-starting (where permitted), and more. Participants are welcome to use skis, splitboards, or snowshoes to access the camp location. Required gear and information to be sent to registrants.

NOTE THAT THIS EVENT IS AN OVERNIGHT. EXPECT TO BE FULLY INVOLVED FROM THE START TIME ON SATURDAY THROUGH AROUND NOON ON SUNDAY, 4/14. WE MAY BE ABLE TO ACCOMMODATE EARLY SIGN-OUTS UNDER SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES IF NOTIFIED IN ADVANCE.
