The Eldorado Backcountry Ski Patrol is a volunteer organization that works with the U.S. Forest Service. We welcome both backcountry skiers and snowshoe hikers. We focus on public service and education associated with winter mountain recreation.
We ask that prospective members come to a minimum of two events (for example, a Patrol meeting, a class, and/or join us on an Open Ski/Snowshoe) so that we can get to know each other. The prospective member can learn more about the Patrol at these events.
After the prospective member comes to at least two Patrol events, they should fill out the three forms below and hand them to a Board member or send them to our membership coordinator. The Board will then vote on whether or not to accept the membership. If membership is accepted, the webmaster will send the new member an email, and explain how to pay the dues through the website.
